The Big Bus London sightseeing bus is a comfortable and effective way to see the main points of interest in London. This service has 3 different routes, including a night route. You can choose between 24 or 28-hour tickets, which both have unlimited use during the selected period.

Route

The itinerary of the London Big Bus depends on each of the 3 lines it has. Some of the most interesting stops on the route are Westminster, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, London Bridge and the Tower of London.

All of the Big Bus tickets include a boat cruise on the Thames. The cruise runs daily between 10am and 5pm, every 15 minutes in the summer season and approximately every 40 minutes in the winter season.

In addition, 48-hour tickets include a 1.5-hour guided walking tour of London in English.

Lines and Schedule

  • Red line: the most complete option, passing the must-see sights in London on a 2 hour and 20-minute route, with daily departures from 8:40 am to 5:10 pm with a frequency of 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Blue line: this route runs from the museum quarter south of Hyde Park and takes you to the Tower of London in East London. This route lasts 3 hours and 20 minutes and runs daily from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with a frequency of 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Green line: this route provides a link between North London and Central London. It takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes with daily departures from 8:30 am to 6 pm, with a frequency of 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Night tour: departures from the London Eye (stop 11) at 7:30 pm. The night route has no stops and lasts 2 hours. It's included in the '48 Hours + Night Tour' option.

City Sightseeing

The London City Sightseeing bus is one of the main services in London. It runs a 20-stop route through central London lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Some of the most characteristic places it passes through are Big Ben, the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park Corner, St Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace.

The ticket options are 24 or 48 hours. In the first option, it's possible to purchase a Thames cruise operated by City Cruises by Hornblower. The cruise runs daily between 10 am and 5 pm, every 40 minutes approximately. The second option includes 5 audio-guided tours in English so you can explore London at your leisure.

Night Tour
